Tamil Nadu state examinations: eligibility and notification dates
Conditions of age, community relaxation and qualification for Tamil Nadu recruitment examinations, reproduced from the official notifications. Each rule is accompanied by the sentence it comes from and the page of the document. Dates are checked against the boards' own dashboards on a schedule, and every change is recorded with its source.

How the record is maintained
Quotation, not paraphrase
Every age limit and qualification is stored with a sentence copied from the notification and the page it appears on. Table values are checked against the numbers on that page. If the sentence cannot be found, the examination is flagged and no eligibility answer is given until it is reviewed.
Difference, not replacement
Each run stores the previous list of documents and date lines. A new addendum, a moved examination date or a revised vacancy count becomes a dated entry. Where the document states the change, the sentence itself is recorded as evidence.
Published for checking
The dataset, the change log and the source status are published as JSON, CSV and plain text, so the same rules can be inspected or re-used without reading the pages. Every source that fails a check is listed publicly.

What is the age limit for TNPSC Group IV (CCSE-IV) in 2026?
As on 1 Jul 2026 the minimum age is 18. The maximum is 30 for the general category, 32 for BC, BCM and MBC/DC, and 35 for SC, SC(A) and ST. Persons with benchmark disability may go up to 40 (general) and ex-servicemen to 48. Do reserved categories get age relaxation in TNPSC examinations?
Yes, but not uniformly. In Group IV and Group I the reserved-category ceiling is five years above the general ceiling. In Group II the notification states "No maximum age limit" for reserved categories against most posts, which para 4.1.3 defines as not having completed 60 years. This site records the figure printed against each post rather than assuming a single relaxation.
Is there an age limit for TNTET 2026?
No. The 2026 Teacher Eligibility Test for working teachers prescribes no age limit. Eligibility depends on being a serving teacher appointed on or before 1 September 2025. A pass is an eligibility certificate; the notification states it creates no right to appointment.
When is the next TNUSRB police recruitment?
The TNUSRB Annual Planner for 2026–2027 lists Grade-II Police Constables (Women) for December 2026, and the common recruitment for police constable, fireman and jail warder for February 2027. No notification has been published, so no age limit can be confirmed.
